OPTIMUM DRIVING COMFORT
VSE suspension systems provide optimum driving comfort, axle load distribution and stability on a bus or coach.
The system is very compact, making it possible to save a lot of space compared to conventional air suspension. There are also more options compared to air suspension.
MAXIMUM MANOEUVRABILITY
VSE steering systems ensure optimum manoeuvrability so that hard-to-reach locations can be reached without design modifications to the bus or coach.
This means the VSE steering system enables you to transport more passengers!
SUSTAINABILITY
The suspension system uses an electrically driven pump and is 100 kg lighter than conventional air suspension, resulting in a 0.5l/100 km reduction of fuel consumption.
The steering system makes the bus or coach more manoeuvrable than one that is not steered or uses a trailing axle. The result is a significant fuel savings of 14% and tyre wear reduction (on average, tyres last four times longer).
DEVELOPMENT
Due to the compact construction, the steering and suspension systems require little space. This means that required design changes are very minor indeed.

ELECTRIC BUSES
Hybrid and electric vehicles have become so common that they no longer turn heads.
Promoting the shift to electric and hybrid buses and coaches is also a priority on the political agenda. As a result, the auxiliary systems in buses and coaches with combustion engines are increasingly electrically driven.
The VSE systems can be electrically driven, which makes the system ideally suited for electrification of auxiliary systems and for hybrid and electric buses and coaches.
VSE Dynamic Bus Suspension
VSE Dynamic Bus Suspension is a hydropneumatic suspension system for both the front axle and the rear axles of a bus. The system is suitable for hybrid and electric city buses that have a high centre of gravity. The system is also very suitable for city buses that frequently make stops where the bus has to kneel.
