VSE has expanded its international service organisation on two fronts in Europe. Joining the service organisation are French chain AD Poids Lourds, a network of independent garages in France, and Horodynski Truck & Trailer in Poland.
To begin with, VSE service will be offered at five locations in France: Vénissieux (near Lyon), Rennes (Brittany), Brugières (Southern France), Floirac (Bordeaux) and Goussainville (Paris). From these service points VSE will be able to provide the whole of France with service for its products. AD P has been active in France for 31 years now, and currently has 200 workshops across the country. In Poland, service will also be provided at several locations, putting VSE service within reach of customers throughout Poland.
Both partner organisations will perform all aspects of truck and trailer maintenance, performed both by the chain and VSE itself. Technicians will be trained to ensure they have adequate knowledge of the technology used in all the various VSE systems and their maintenance. Any additional training that may be required will also be provided.
France is important to VSE not only as a service market but as a sales market too. It has tremendous potential for a supplier of steering systems. The country has a huge number of carriers and the necessary infrastructure, so VSE can certainly make a difference in driving down the costs of the typical French carrier. VSE is now a familiar name among French trailer builders and hopes to achieve greater brand recognition among leading French hauliers, who, as in other countries, are becoming increasingly aware of the costs of their fleet. The choice for AD Poids Lourds is not just about fast service, but fast parts delivery as well. The five branches that will provide service now each have their own stock of VSE parts. To begin with the company will provide VSE service at five branches, but this number is expected to grow in the future, so there will soon be more branches VSE customers can turn to.
Poland is also an important market for VSE, and Horodynski Truck & Trailer is our first service partner in Eastern Europe. This partnership lays a good foundation for the future, where the aim is for more customers to have a service partner in their region. It is also beneficial to have Polish-speaking technicians, as this facilitates communication with our customers in this growing market. All things considered, then, this is a great first step towards a fruitful partnership.
All of us here at VSE look forward to working with the new service partners and developing strong collaborative partnerships!
